A lot of the pc100 dimms I have from the old days are 64meg and are
double sided, but only populated with chips on 1 side.
I was wondering if anybody ever experimented with adding more of the
same chips to double the size?The old pc's I play with often have only
2 dimm sockets,so if I could make my own 128megs that would be a lot better.
It seems a shame to throw out old good memory just because it is too puny.
I was also wondering if the eeprom on the dimm would have to be altered to
match the new size?
